About

Berlin Masonry was established in 1972 in Marin County and relocated to Sonoma in 1976. We were incorporated in 1987 as Steven E. Berlin Inc. 

We are the second generation of Masonry Contractors in the Bay Area with a history of continued service to our trade since 1951, when my father – Herbert Berlin – started his business. I apprenticed first as a bricklayer and block layer, but my work quickly transitioned to doing more stonework which I found artistically rewarding. 

We are incredibly proud to have reached the 70 year mark, and continue to look forward to being a creative compliment to our craft in the years ahead.
